Short Description Field In Service Now Alert Actions Is Not Free Text

On some users' Orions, the "Create Service Now Incident" action has the "short description" as a drop-down, instead of as a free text box.

Overview

Rather than have a "free-text" box, the "Make Service Now Incident" activity has the "short description" as a drop-down.

Cause

This is a known issue; however, a workaround can be applied in Service Now.

Resolution

The workaround involves setting the affected field's Choice List Specification to Suggestion in Service Now.

Navigate to affected field's properties.
Change Choice to Suggestion
