Set up a proxy server to use with License Manager for license activations

Overview

You can set up a proxy server for License Manager by performing the following steps:

Open License Manager, and then click an Activate or Upgrade link in the Action column.
In the Activation Wizard window, select I access the internet through a proxy server, and then provide the address and port number of the proxy server.
If the proxy server requires credentials, select Proxy requires authentication, and then provide the user name and password.
Click Next to save your changes.
