How to enable these features?
Navigate to Setup > Labs
Find the section “Form Layout Separators and Field Truncation Control” and toggle it ON.
You can now add title areas, visual separators, or a combination of both directly into your form definitions. These elements take up the full width of the form, rather than being confined to a single column, ensuring proper alignment and a cleaner layout even for complex Change or Catalog forms.

Example: Service Catalog Form before enabling the Feature
- Navigate Service Desk > Service Catalog
- Select an existing catalog or create a new one by clicking the + icon.
- Click the +Add Layout Element button to add the different layout elements
- Currently, the following layout elements are available;
- Drag and drop the required layout elements to form

Feature 2: Give Every Field Label the Space It Needs with Longer Custom Field Labels
A new option in all form definitions that indicates the maximum number of lines to use for each field label before truncation occurs. Customers can now use the options of 1 line, 2 lines, 3 lines, or unlimited to guide label display, ensuring that requesters can see the full context of a question at a glance without any extra clicks.
Example: Service Catalog Custom Field before enabling the Feature
- Navigate Service Desk > Service Catalog
- Select an existing catalog or create a new one by clicking the + icon.
- Click the +Set label Line Limit button, and set the limit
- Select the required option from the drop-down
- The labels are fully visible now
