"Server Error" in Alert PerfStack widget of the SolarWinds Platform Web Console

The “Alert PerfStack” widget is a legacy component used in classic dashboards to display a PerfStack view based on a selected alert. It dynamically loads related performance metrics to help users analyze the alert’s context.

Overview

Although the PerfStack view and project can be added successfully, the server error prompt continues to appear.

Resolution

For stability and performance reasons, using the legacy “Alert PerfStack” widget on classic dashboards is not recommended.
Remove the Alert PerfStack widget from the view, then re-add a standard PerfStack project widget by searching for the saved PerfStack project you want to display.

Workaround :

Click on Customized Page.
Select Add Widget.
In the search bar, look for the PerfStack project name.
Add it to the page.
