Serv-U file download randomly stops using file sharing or a web client

Downloading using the web client or file share randomly stops for an unknown reasons. The error in Serv-U logs are either showing (error sending file "files" aborting or SESS_COMMAND_ABORTED).

Overview

When you download files using a Web client or file sharing, the download procedure randomly stops for no apparent reason. The download is started and looks normal and then it will stop in the middle of it regardless of the size. Serv-U logs "session aborted" and etc. You may also get this issue when a Serv-U Gateway is involved and installed on Linux server.
