"404 not found" error at login in Serv-U 15.5.2

Overview

After upgrade to Serv-U 15.5.2, when users attempt to login into Serv-U, they get redirected to http://<servername or IP>/Web%20Client/ListDir.htm - instead of http://<servername or IP>/WebClientNew - which then returns a "404 not found" error page

Cause

This has been identified as a known issue in Serv-U 15.5.2 as a result of Default Web Client at domain/user level having been set to the old (legacy) web client, which has been deprecated in this version.

Resolution

Serv-U 15.5.2 HF1 has been released to address this issue.
Download the above-named Hotfix from your Customer Portal and apply it following the instructions in the readme.txt file.
