How to verify the Serv-U 15.4.2 version information with hotfixes

Overview


There are different ways to verify the Serv-U FTP/MFT and Serv-U Gateway versions. 
One way to confirm the version is through the Serv-U Management Console.

Here is the exact build versions for Serv-U FTP/MFT with hotfixes
  • 15.4.2.126 base version
  • 15.4.2.147 with Hotfix 1
  • 15.4.2.157 with Hotfix 2

Serv-U FTP/MFT

For Windows Deployments

  • Launch the Serv-U Management Console
  • Go to Global > Server Details > Program Information tab

  • (Alternative method) Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features
  • When verifying the Serv-U FTP/MFT versions from Control Panel, it might show an older version that does not match the version from Management Console. This means that the 15.4.2 hotfix was installed without upgrading to the 15.4.2.126 base version first. In this scenario, install 115.4.2.126 first using the installer, then apply the corresponding hotfixes.

For Linux Deployments 

  • Log in to the Serv-U MFT server and navigate to /usr/local/Serv-U/ and view the Serv-U-StartupLog.txt file

Serv-U Gateway

For Windows Deployments

  • (Alternative method) Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features
  • Launch the Serv-U Management Console from the Serv-U MFT server
  • Go to Global > Server Details > Serv-U Gateway tab
  • Click the Serv-U Gateway entry, and click the Properties button

For Linux Deployments

  • Log in to the Serv-U Gateway server and navigate to /usr/local/Serv-U Gateway and view the Serv-U-Gateway.txt file
