Send a test message to Kiwi Syslog Daemon using the localhost address.

Overview

The Kiwi Syslog Daemon has the ability to send a test message to itself via the localhost address. You can do this to check whether or not it is configured correctly.

Resolution

To do this, go to File and then click Send test message to localhost.

If successfully done, a message displays in the grind as shown in the image below.
