Scheduled activities do not run automatically in Kiwi CatTools

Overview

This article details a resolution to the issue that occurs when activities in Kiwi CatTools do not automatically run at scheduled intervals. Activities must be run manually.

Cause

When the Kiwi CatTools Manager is opened, the timer automatically stops.  As such, no activities are automatically run.

Resolution

You can try either of the following solutions.

Recommended Solution 

Set the Kiwi CatTools Manager to automatically start the Timer when it is closed and close it. To set this:

  1. Go to Options > Setup.
  2. Click the Misc tab.
  3. Set the When exiting the Manager should Set the timer to ON.
  4. Click OK.

Alternative Solution 

On the Activities tab within the Kiwi CatTools Manager, click the Start Timer button.

NOTE: This feature only works if all the CatTools sessions are closed. All CatTools Instances must be closed for each user using the application on the same host.
