Enable an HPE MSA (Swordfish) array in SRM

This article contains instructions to enable HPE MSA (Swordfish) arrays so they can be monitored by Storage Resource Monitor (SRM). Monitoring is performed through a RESTful on-board API. SRM users can now monitor HPE MSA Gen 6 (1060, 2060/2062) and Gen 7 (2070/2073) storage arrays, which use the Swordfish API. The minimum supported firmware for HPE MSA (Swordfish) is IN210P002. 

Ensure you have the following:

• IP address or hostname for the array
• Credential name
• Array API username
  The minimum privileged user is monitor (read-only access). A local username is case sensitive. It can have a maximum of 29 bytes. The name cannot already exist in the system, include spaces, or include the following: " , < \ : 
• Array API password
  A local password is case sensitive. It can contain 8 to 32 characters. If the password contains only printable ASCII characters, then it must contain at lease one uppercase character, one lowercase character, one numeric character, and one non-alphanumeric character. A password can include printable UTF-8 characters, except for the following: a space or " '  , < > 
• Protocol
  The default is HTTPS.
• API port
  The default is 443.
