Overview

This article provides information for adding your NetApp Filer (Direct Polling) array to SRM. It should be used in conjunction with the Add your storage array for monitoring with SRM topic in the Success Center documentation, visit NetApp Support or online help.

NetApp Filer arrays are 7-mode and cluster mode storage arrays, including the newer NetApp AFF series. These are monitored through on-board Data ONTAP APIs on the array. NetApp filers are polled directly from SRM via onboard APIs.

Supported firmware:

  • ActiveIQ Unified Manager (AIQUM) version 9.7 or later
  • ONTAP OS 9.11.1 or later can be monitored on AIQUM


Credentials required to add the array 

Ensure you have the following information:

  • IP address or hostname for the array
  • Array username
  • Array password
  • Protocol. The default is HTTP.
