Overview
This article provides brief information and steps to resolve the issue when the SNMP Service on F5 device crashing.
Scenario 1: Duplicate management route
When the device is rebooted, the duplicate management route re-appears and the SNMP service on the device crashes again.
Scenario 2: F5 Network insight polling on Orion 2020.2 and F5 v15.1, using SNMPv3
Enabling F5 Insight for any of them seems to cause the SNMP service on the F5's to crash and produce a core file, sometimes soon after enabling, other times after a few hours. We've not seen this on other hardware or versions and the period of time it takes to crash doesn't seem to be consistent.
