Cause

  1. Port 80 on between site and ADFS server is not open
  2. Incorrect Issue URI
  3. Incorrect Cert(extra spaces/chars)

 

Resolution

Solution for Error 1:
The Customer need to open the Port 80, by default it is open on port 80 but customization on the customer side left it on port 443 or it been disabled by any chances.

Solution for Error 2:
The customer should update the issuer URI to this value - https://sts.windows.net/8288fdf2-0e8b-47a6-abbb-004395ecab56/ that was returned in response.

Solution for Error 3:
Validate the IDP Cert in SSO configuration, remove and re-add if required.
