- Ensure the HP Agentless Management Service (© Copyright 2019 Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP, available at https://www.hpe.com/us/en/home.html, obtained on May 10, 2019) is installed and enabled. This service is what handles passing OS info over to ILO, which took over managing the hardware info out of band.
- Make sure you enable the SMA service in the OS (System Management Assistant Service). This service is disabled by default. Change it to Automatic Startup, and then start the service. Your SNMP polling for hardware health should start working now after this step.
- From the Orion Web Console, perform a list resources on your Gen 10 servers and check the box for the hardware sensors. On the next poll you should expect to see information about the health of the server.
