Overview
After adding an Arista node to the SolarWinds Platform, additional SNMP configuration may be required to correctly poll for Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) data.

Resolution
To get routing tables for Arista VRFs, SNMP polling on the device needs to be configured as noted below:
-
-
For SNMPv3, the SNMP context for a specific VRF needs to be the same as the VRF name
-
For SNMPv2c, VRF data needs to be available with the community string “community_string@vrf_name”
-
-
If the polling does not work, verify that you have SNMP contexts defined as noted above.
For additional information on configuring SNMP in Arista devices, see EOS 4.33.1F User Manual. For additional information on VRF, see Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) Fundamentals.
