How to recover SEM Database Backup and Search the Events

In the case you want to view the SEM Database Backups (Archiveconfig).  The process (With Solarwinds support help) is to set up an evaluation SEM and import the the backups.  We do not recommend importing the backups to the production SEM if you are wanting to view the past events. 

Step 1:  Deploy an evaluation SEM

• Install and Deploy SEM

Step 2:  Contact Solarwinds Support to import the Database backups to the evaluation SEM and make the backups searchable.
