Resources missing while attempting to add them to SolarWinds Platform Web Console view

Upon attempt to add new resources to the view nothing is displayed on the list of available resources.

Overview

Occasionally, you will modify the view on the SolarWinds Platform Web Console by adding new resources to display required information. When selecting the option to add a new resource, the newly opened window will not list any available resources.

Cause

Such behavior is caused by corrupted or malformed file which is holding (caching) information about available web resources.

Resolution

To correct this issue follow the steps below:

Login to the SolarWinds Platform server hosting the SolarWinds Platform Web Console (it can be Main Poller or Additional Web Server)
Navigate to
```
c:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\Orion\
```
Delete file
```
WebResourceCache.xml
```
Using SolarWinds Platform Service Manager restart the Website
Attempt adding resource (let the system finish rebuilding the cache)
