Overview

The default admin account password for the Dameware Administration Console can be reset by following the procedure below. Please note that this is for the local admin account only.

Resolution

1. Open the Dameware Configuration wizard.

2. Click the Update Dameware admin account and set the password, then Next.

3. Click Next again and then Finish.

4. Launch the Dameware Administration Console and log in using the new password.
