Reset LDAP User's MFA Account in Serv-U 2026.3

Overview

Multi-factor account for an LDAP single user can be enabled and reset by following the steps herein.

Cause

If an LDAP user needs to have their Multi-factor account reset.

Resolution

  1. Go to the domain > Users > LDAP Authentication tab > Click on Reset user's MFA account:

 

  1. Type in the valid LDAP user name or userPrincipalName (based on the Login ID or Search Filter in the LDAP configuration window)
  2. Click Reset MFA > Continue
  3. Next window will show "The MFA account has been successfully reset" then click OK

 

If "No MFA account found for the specified user." comes up, it means that the MFA account has not been set yet.
