This article is about how to reset your Kiwi web access user account. This scenario is when you are not able to login due to forgotten credential.

Resolution

On the Kiwi Syslog server:

  1. ​Stop the services listed below from services
    • Kiwi Syslog Server (can be found in services.msc)
    • Kiwi Web Access (can be found in IIS)
  2. Run the Web Access installer, the default location is specified below.
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Syslogd\Setup\KiwiSyslogWebAccess_X.X.X_Setup
  3. Specify your new Password.
  4. Select Modify and run through the process.
  5. Start all the services below.
    • Kiwi Syslog Server
    • Kiwi Web Access
  6. After it has been completed, try to log in again with the new password.

*NOTE: For older version 9.7.2 and older, please upgrade to the latest version available (currently 9.8.0)

For version 9.8.3, you will need to completely uninstall and reinstall Kiwi Web Access 9.8.3.
