Repair VNQM Module when IPSLA business layer is corrupted

Overview

This article explains how to repair VNQM using the Control Panel. This process is being performed when the IPSLA business layer is corrupted and cannot perform any new transaction in VNQM like adding IPSLA operations.

Cause

Unknown cause why businesslayer is corrupted

Resolution

1. Always make sure there is a recent backup of the environment (Database and Orion Server)
2. Log in to Orion NPM Server as a Windows Local Administrator.
3. Click Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features.
4. Right-click SolarWinds VoIP and Network Quality Monitor, and select Repair.
5. After the repair, the Configuration Wizard is launched. If the Configuration Wizard does not launch, start it from the start menu.
6. Complete the Configuration Wizard to complete the repair process.
