Overview

DRE has a Technician console that can initiate a remote session to the remote device. You can download it from the DRE Web Admin Area and then install it on the Technician's machines.

The DRE Remote Control Mode is one of the features of the Web Admin Area, where you can initiate a remote session from the browser. Doing so will require you to install the DRE console applet for the web. This is similar to the Technician console; the only difference is that it can be launched from the web, eliminating the need to log in to the console application.

Enable Remote Control Mode to create and accept Support Sessions.

Notes: This mode will consume a Technician License.
