This article describes how to register a Serv-U license key on the Serv-U Management Console using the Registration ID in the registration email.

Resolution

  1. Open the Serv-U Management Console.
  2. Go to Server Details > License Information.
  3. Click Enter License IDServUKB1.png
  4. In the Registration ID field, paste the alphanumeric key from the registration email or the Customer Portal.

  5. Click Save.
Here is an example of the Registration ID section in the body of the email that gets sent.
Only the registration ID needs to be copied/pasted into the Management Console.

Thank you for purchasing Serv-U. This message contains your Registration ID. To apply it:

  1. Open the Serv-U Management Console and browse to "Server Details | License Information".
  2. Scroll down and click the "Enter License ID..." button.
  3. Paste your alphanumeric Registration ID string into the "Registration ID" field, then click "Save."
