Recover or reset default Serv-U management console access on the server

To recover default Serv-U management console access on the server, remove the default Local Administrator Domain folder and log in to the Serv-U server management console.

Overview

If the access to the Serv-U server management console is restricted, Set the Management Console password in Serv-U and you do not know the administrator password, follow the steps below to recover the default management console access.

Resolution

  1. Log in to the Serv-U server.
  2. Stop Serv-U service.
  3. Go to C:\ProgramData\RhinoSoft\Serv-U\Users
  1. Remove the "Local Administrator Domain" folder.
  2. Start the Serv-U service.
  3. Open Serv-U management console and log in to the Serv-U server.

You can now log in freely to the Serv-U Management Console.
