Overview

Sometimes a Node will get stuck on polling and will not poll again even after fixing the first issue. If RabbitMQ and MSMQ are healthy and working correctly, but there is a node that is still showing the last poll time being in the past, you may need to re-add the node for it to start working again.

Resolution

1. Go to Settings > All Settings page in the Orion web console.
2. Choose the "Add A node" option towards the top of the page.
2. Enter the IP address of the node.
3. A popup saying the node already exists will show up. Click on the "I am having issues with this node" button.
4. Finish the wizard for Re-Adding the node.
5. Once the process is complete, go back to the node details page and click on "poll now."

The Node should now have an updated next polling time under polling details. If it does not, then you may have an issue with being able to poll the node or may need to completely remove the node and add it again to get it to work properly.
