What browsers are supported for Success Center content?

Most modern browsers are supported, such as current versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. However, Internet Explorer is not supported, and content might not be formatted correctly in Internet Explorer.

If you are viewing Success Center contact and the format is distorted or it overlaps, try using a different browser.

How can I search the SolarWinds Customer Success Center?

The SolarWinds Customer Success Center provides access to SolarWinds product documentation and Knowledge Base (KB) articles. The product documentation explains how to install, get started, and configure your software. The KB articles provide supplemental information—including workarounds and tips—for optimizing your software.

Use the search tool to search the Customer Success website.

  1. Go to support.solarwinds.com or any documentation page.

  2. Click the magnifying glass icon in the upper-right corner.

  3. Enter a search term or phrase in the search box, and then click the magnifying glass to begin the search.

  4. In the left column, select a filter to narrow your search results.
For example, you can select Product Documentation and Patch Manager to search for all occurrences of PowerShell in the Patch Manager documentation.

  5. Locate a search result.
    For example:

Click the Details drop-down menu for an overview of the topic.

  6. Click the title to open the topic.

How do I print a KB article or documentation topic?

In Google Chrome, right-click the topic and select Print. In Mozilla Firefox, click File > Print. You can send the page to your printer or save it as a PDF.

When you print a page from a product guide (except from a Cloud-based product guide), the page is formatted automatically for printing, as shown below. If you frequently access the product documentation websites, you may need to clear your cache to format the page for printing.

How do I provide feedback for a topic or KB article?

Each topic and KB article provides a resource on the right side of the page or the bottom, depending on the width of the window. Use this resource to leave feedback. When you click a happy or sad icon, the resource expands and provides an area where you can leave a comment.

You can enter a comment or leave the space blank. When you are finished, click Submit.

For pressing issues, contact Technical Support or submit a ticket.
