Overview

Scenario 1:
You are trying to use the new Feature in PM 2.1.6 i.e execute powershell script pre- or post-install tasks.

For example: You configured an update management task and selected the powershell script that will stop a windows service before the patches are applied. However the task fails with below error:

Scenario 2:
In some cases, when update task fails due to particular reason for certain client machines, then dedicated message for that reason is replaced by generic message in operation details "PowerShell script execution had been prevented due to previous task abotring. Check 'Execute if update failed' to ignore." This happens even if there is not any PS script applied to those machines.

Scenario 3:
Pre/Post update Powershell scripts does not work and PM task fails with this message on client machines PM agent is installed.
