Overview

Customer adds the array and uses a custom service account. It's successfully added and discovered but Performance data for the IBM Storwize v7000 disk system is not being provided.

Cause

The CIM user is not logged in with sufficient privileges to collect Common Information Model (CIM) statistics.

To collect statistics data, the role of the CIM user must be SecurityAdmin or Administrator.

Resolution

Use the command-line interface (CLI) to manage users and user groups.
