This article describes how to configure a Linux agent after it is deployed using either Manual Pull Or Push method.

Resolution
- Configure the agent.
- Ensure that you have sudo rights.
- Open a command prompt.
- Execute:
service swiagentd init
The Linux Agent configuration settings display on-screen.
- Enter the IP address, hostname, or fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the Orion Platform server or Additional Polling Engine (option 2).
- Enter your Orion administrator or equivalent credentials you use to log in to the Orion web interface (options 4 and 5).
- Save your changes and exit (option 7).
The agent is registered with the Orion Platform server. The agent begins to manage the server as a node.
