How to access Orion Insights?

  • Log into your customer portal.

  • Under technical support tab, click on Orion Insights Environment review.


What Your Report Will Include?

  • Executive Summary – includes a list of the top Orion Platform issues needing to be addressed.

  • Data Management – outlines optimization tips for your SQL database.

  • Optimize and Scale for Improvement – provides analysis of your pollers, AWS, and deployed modules.


What Happens Next?

The results of your Orion Insights Environmental Review will be available to you within 24 hours.

  • To review results, log back in to your Customer Portal using the link provided in your invitation email.

  • You’ll find your Orion Insights report located on this page in the section titled Orion Insights Reports.
     

What to do When You Receive Your Report?

  1. Review your Executive Summary results and implement the key recommended actions.

  2. Build your upgrade plan and leverage the Orion Installer to help deploy your upgrade.

  3. Head to the new Upgrade Resource Center if you have questions or need additional upgrade help.

  4. Enjoy the improved performance, security, enhanced scalability, and new features of your product(s).


Understanding your report

The Orion Insight Report defines three message warning levels:

Critical: Provide information regarding your environment's current health, performance, and stability. These messages indicate that the environment is currently non-optimal, and action should be taken to remediate.

Warning: Indicate that your environment may currently have an open exposure or issue that should be addressed to return your system to optimal. Warning messages should be investigated further to understand their full potential impact and remediated if required

Informational: Provide you with enhanced insight into your environment. Informational messages do not require any immediate action but provide you with additional context for more effective management of your system.
