Orion Events and Orion Audit Event Time logging

Orion Events are logged in the database through SQL/Orion App Server time. They are not converted to (web console) client browser time, but will stay on SQL/Orion App Server time. Audit Events are logged in the database as UTC time then converted to SQL/APP Server time in the web console.

Orion Event Detail 

  • Orion Events are logged in the database through SQL/Orion App Server time and not converted to (web console) client browser time, but will stay on SQL/Orion App Server time.
  • Examples of Orion events:
    • Node Down
    • Interface Down

Orion Audit Event Detail 

  • Audit Events are logged in the database in UTC time, then converted to SQL/Orion App Server time in the Orion Web Console.
  • Examples of Orion Audit Events:
    • User deleted alert.
    • Alert was added.
