Non-Admin Access to Remote Connection Using DMRC is not working even after Enabling Non-Admin Access to the DMRC Agent

This article provides information on issues when doing a remote connection using a non-admin account even after they have already enabled a remote connection for a non-admin account.

Overview

By design, remote computers should be accessed using an account that has administrative rights to the target remote machine. The rights are necessary when installing Dameware Mini Remote Control Service to enable remote access in Dameware.
For Target Remote machines that already have an installed Dameware Mini Remote Control Service, you can choose to allow non-admin access for the remote connection by referring to this documentation article:
Modify Dameware client agent permissions to enable or prevent non-administrator access

If after configuring the agent in this manner you're still experiencing issues, there may be a possibility that there is a missing configuration in the GPO of the environment.

Make Sure that the "Allowed Non-Admin settings" has been configured in all of your Dameware Mini Remote Control Agent

Enable the "Access this computer from the network” from the GPO.
