Nodes report differently on WMI: Last Boot Time Null
Virtual Windows server polling SNMP reports fine for Last Boot Time and CPU and memory information, when swapped to WMI, the Last Boot Time changes to NULL on the database, resulting in a time in the past and Resource states Data is not available.Monitor C:\Windows\Temp\SolarWinds\JobEngine.v2 for Old ShadowCopyCache files Stop/Start JobEngineV2 service

Overview
Virtual Windows server polling SNMP reports as expected for Last Boot Time and CPU and memory information, but when swapped to WMI, the Last Boot Time changes to NULL on the database, resulting in a time in the past. Resource states Data is not available.
Check NodesDetail (Nodes (View))table forreboot time, may say NULL
Running WBEMTEST query for:
select LastBootUpTime from Win32_OperatingSystem gives the correct time.

Cause
ShadowCopyCache files froze the polled information from the node.
Resolution
- Monitor C:\Windows\Temp\SolarWinds\JobEngine.v2 for Old ShadowCopyCache files.
- Stop or Start JobEngineV2 service. The window should flash and rebuild the folder, drill back into it and check that the folders are recycling.
- Poll Node Details and check that the information is Polling correctly again.
- Check NodesDetail (Nodes (View)) table for correct reboot time.
