No Data on Top XX Applications for Cisco Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) in NTA

Why do I see "Data is not available" in Top XX Applications resource for my WLC

Overview

After configuring a Cisco WLC, the only NetFlow resource with data is the Top XX Wireless Applications resource.

All other NTA resources for the node show "Data is not available"

Cause

The data presented to NTA from a WLC is different to that from a standard layer 3 device so the data presented is also different.

Resolution

The data presented to NTA from a WLC is different to that from a standard layer 3 device so the data presented is also different.

The only resource represented in NTA for WLCs is the Top XX Wireless Applications resource.

Standard NTA resources like Top XX Protocols, Conversations, Endpoints, etc. show "Data is not available" when added to the view.
