This article describes WPM behavior when a website opens a new browser window.

When a website opens a new browser window, this can create difficulty as WPM will focus on one browser window. It is possible to attempt to use X/Y mode to record a click to use/close the new browser window, however the new browser window would be expected.

Start recording the new transaction.
When the dialog appears, switch to X,Y Capture mode by clicking Edit > X, Y Capture mode.
Confirm the dialog.
Disable X, Y Capture mode.
XY mode records this action even if it is not on the Web page. The dialog should be confirmed the same way during playback.
