Overview

There are instances where the technician wants to delete the old or current database for Network Monitor to start with their own IP address list.
Technicians can also edit the Network Monitor database using Microsoft Access to delete unwanted entries such as IP address hosts or Events.

Resolution

There are two folder paths where the Network Monitor database is located.

The default location is in C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\Toolset. File name of the database is Network-Monitor.cfg
There are also instances where a copy of the database is stored in C:\Users\<useraccountname>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Toolset
