 Network Monitor reaches its database limit and the application crashes

Cause

Database is already full.

Resolution

  1. Close the Network Monitor.
  2. Run the following executable file: \Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Toolset\Network-Monitor-Maint.exe 
  3. Click Compact and Repair database.
  4. When done, click Run Nightly Database Archive Now.
  5. Close the Network Monitor Database Maintenance tool.
  6. Reopen the Network Monitor.

You may also use MS Access to fix the DB.

Please close all the Toolset active tool windows that you have and open the file below with Microsoft Access. C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\Toolset\Network-Monitor.cfg

If MS Access prompts as warning such as below please hit Enable Content.

File > Compact / Repair. and Save the file. Close MS Access and try to launch Network Monitor.
