Cause

The CLI database and SMTP debase are reporting different results.

Resolution

  1. Get SNMP walk of the device.
  2. Check for the following OID:

Object     dot1dStpPortState
OID     1.3.6.1.2.1.17.2.15.1.3

Values

1 : disabled
2 : blocking
3 : listening
4 : learning
5 : forwarding

Note: In this case, the switch reports value 2 which tells that NPM reports the port as blocking.
