NOC View Refresh for NTA

An issue exists with NOC views refreshing too quickly if NTA resources are used in those views. This discusses what can be done about it at this point.

Overview

NOC view panels can be set to refresh at their own rate, such as 1 minute per panel. If there are NTA items on any of the panels, that will subject the entire NOC view not to the view's refresh rate per panel, but instead to the web console refresh in settings - web console settings.

Example: If your NOC view is set to refresh each panel after one minute, and you have seven panels, it should take seven minutes to cycle. If NTA resources are added, the refresh will happen in five minutes if that is the web console setting.

Resolution

The following is a workaround:

Remove NTA items from the view.
Set the web console to refresh the cycle to a longer NOC view.
