Cause

The issue is caused by using an account that has no root or administrator privileges to log in on the affected device.

Resolution

  1. On the NCM web console, go to the affected node and click Edit Node.
  2. Under NCM properties, update the username and password fields with the correct username and password that has the administrator or root permissions on the affected device.
  3. Click Submit to finish.
