Overview

An NCM scheduled job works using Active Directory credentials or other device accounts, but fails if using a service account.

Cause

This is usually due to permissions on the service account.

Resolution

Make sure the following apply:

Service account has local administrative privileges.
Service account should not be a part of any other group other than local administrator.
Make sure there are no group policies or local security policies are applied to the service account.
