Overview

The following error message is seen in the database maintenance log in SolarWinds Platform 2022.3:

ERROR SolarWinds.NCM.DatabaseMaintence.FTS.IndexCatalogHandler - NCM FTS Index Optimization failed.
System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[SolarWinds.InformationService.Contract2.InfoServiceFaultContract]: Cirrus.ConfigArchive.RunIndexOptimization failed, check fault information.

Cause

This is a known issue in SolarWinds Platform 2022.3.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in SolarWinds Platform 2023.2 and newer. Consider upgrading your environment.
