License Manager is blank in SolarWinds Observability

The License Manager page on my SolarWinds Observability web console is blank.

Cause

This happens when an expired license is removed from the license manager. It creates a filter in the database and prevents you from seeing other licenses of the same type.

Resolution

To get the licensing to show back up on the license manager, you need to remove rows from the Licensing_LicenseFilters database table.

1. Log in to the SolarWinds Primary Polling engine

2. Open the Database Manager application

3. Expand database and scroll to Licensing section

4. Double click Licensing_LicenseFilters database table

5. Query the table, and select Enable Table Editing button

6. Highlight the row that shows the licensing that you are missing, right-click, and Delete the selected row

7. Refresh the License Manager; you should now see the license return.
