Monitoring a node on poller number 1 will not mean that a discovery from poller number 2 will not add the same node to monitoring.
This is how the product is designed, it runs a discovery of the network and adds the nodes to your poller.

If you run the same discovery on 2 different pollers, they will discover and monitor the same nodes. You can only monitor a node on more than 1 poller by design.
