Resolution

Before this please make sure you have select the Swap space on the List Resources of your target node. Now moving forward with creating the alert review the following information on how to create a volume alert for space or usage.

After reviewing the above information if you want to specify a volume on the logic you will have to specify the set of objects. This can be achieve by executing the following steps on the Trigger Condition.

1. In the Trigger Condition you will have to select Only following set of objects (This will allow you to scope the alert for only Swap Space).

Once this has been selected it will give you an additional logic section to select the objects that you require.

2. Select the required field of Volume Type and equal this to Swap space. (This will automatically populate the fields whille enter them and be careful because it will be case sensitive)

Now this alert will trigger for any Swap space volume that is being monitored by the SolarWinds Platform.
