Note: SolarWinds recommends using a virtual IP (VIP) address to monitor your cluster health. Otherwise, you may experience unexpected results caused by stopped services.
- Log into the Orion Web Console as an administrator.
- Hover over Settings, and click Manage Nodes.
- Add the VIP of the cluster as a node, using 'External Node' as the polling method.
- Click Settings > All Settings.
- Under Product Specific Settings, click SAM Settings.
- Click Manage Templates.
- Apply a Microsoft Windows Server XXXX failover cluster, where XXXX is the Windows Server version.
