Resolution

Note: SolarWinds recommends using a virtual IP (VIP) address to monitor your cluster health. Otherwise, you may experience unexpected results caused by stopped services.

  1. Log into the Orion Web Console as an administrator.
  2. Hover over Settings, and click Manage Nodes.
  3. Add the VIP of the cluster as a node, using 'External Node' as the polling method.
  4. Click Settings > All Settings.
  5. Under Product Specific Settings, click SAM Settings.
  6. Click Manage Templates.
  7. Apply a Microsoft Windows Server XXXX failover cluster, where XXXX is the Windows Server version.
