This article provides information on adjusting the timeout value while discovering network using SNMP.

Resolution

Open SolarWinds.NTM.BusinessLayer.dll.config in the text editor (default location: c:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Network Topology Mapper\)

Search for the key below:

<add key="NtmSnmpTimeout" value="3000"/>

Modify the value to increase the timeout.
Save the file.
Attempt new scan process.
