Missing Nodes In A Group In The Web Console Hosted In Additional Web Server

This article is created to address the issue where there are missing nodes in a node group when you access the web console hosted in an additional web server.

Overview

In the web console hosted in the main polling engine, all nodes that are members of a group are listed properly but when the web console is hosted in an additional web server, there are missing nodes in the node group.

Cause

There is a space at the beginning or at the end of the affected group name or on the node name of the affected nodes.

Resolution

  • Edit the group name of the affected group and check whether is a space at the beginning or at the end of the name
    • Go to settings > all settings > manage groups
    • Select the affected group and then click edit properties
    • Check the group name accordingly
  • Edit the node name of the affected node and check whether is a space at the beginning or at the end of the name
    • Go to settings > manage nodes
    • Select the affected node and then click edit properties
    • Check the node name accordingly
