Overview

A migrated VM on a new Hyper-V cluster shows offline when it is actually online and the following have been verified:

The Hyper-V host cluster is added on the VMAN datasource.
The Hyper-V host is validated.
The credentials used to access the cluster is added on VMAN.
The discovery jobs for the cluster datasource is running with no issues.
The collector configuration job for the cluster datasource is running with no issues.
Connection to their hyper-v cluster using the wbemtest tool (available on all windows OS).

Cause

The commissioned cluster server is a Hyper-V version 6.3.
The VMs were migrated on the new Hyper-V cluster.

Resolution

Go to VMAN Configuration Console Setup > System Maintenance.
Click Rebuild Indexes, Recalc License, and Clear Job Trackers.
Go to Collection Schedule and then run the Collector Configuration Job.
Verify that the cluster is showing only by checking the Cluster tab on the VMAN Hyper-V Environment Map.
