Overview

Menu bar is missing when accessing the Orion web console via the additional web server URL or Alias URL, but when you access the web console via Main pollers URL the menu bar shows up.

In some environments you may be prompted for credentials continuously and they will not be accepted even if they are valid.

Cause

  • Invalid/expired license for Solarwinds Additional Web Server
  • RabbitMQ issues

Resolution

Scenario 1 Solution: Solarwinds Additional Web Server license is invalid / expired

1. Access the web console via Main poller URL
2. Go to Settings > All Settings > License manager > Check if AWS is licensed properly.
For NAM customers with NAM Gen2 Bundled license you will only see one license.

You will need to reach out to support / Customer service team to verify if the Additional Web server license is valid in the NAM bundle.
3. If the license is expired, then apply or re-apply a valid license for the additional web server.
